The Birth of the Internet
1983 January 1 is the birthday of the internet.Several
people contributed to the creation of the Internet. They made a concerted
effort to increase internet performance. We know that the internet gives us
access to a wealth of information, and we cannot function without it. As a
result, individuals played an important role in the emergence of the Internet.
We can observe how many people contributed to the Internet's creation.
The internet's basis was developed in 1960, with
the establishment of the ARPANET - Advanced researching projects agency network
- as the first working prototype. The advanced research project agency of the
Department of Defense supported the initiative. This is used in packet
switching to connect several computers to a single network. Robert Kahn and
Vinton Cerf created the TCP/IP transmission control protocol. This model is
concerned with the standard for data transmission between several networks.
J.C.R.Licklider, an American computer scientist,
might be named as the most important contributor to the establishment of the
internet. In 1962, he proposed global networking concepts and the cloud
computing and intergalactic computer networks. In 1965, Thomas Maril and
Lawrence G. Roberts established the WAN - Wide area network, which aided in the
development of the Internet.
And also Berners-Lee, sometimes known as Tim
Berners-Lee, was a contributor. He invented the WWW, or World Wide Web, in
1989. He invented the first web browser as well as the first web page. This
contributed to the advancement of current web browsers and online sites. This
enabled people to perform their regular tasks while utilizing the internet, and
because of WWW investment, people grew acquainted with the Internet.
Individual
relationships are what makes the internet so strong today, and new individuals
and organizations are looking for ways to improve the Internet.
